So lets have a moment of sheer honesty for a minute…I have acquired a TON of supplies and have been avoiding saving toilet paper and paper towel rolls because of the amount of space they take up. 🙈 Thankfully, my mom knew they’d come in handy and was saving hers for me. This resulted in me driving to her house one night because I had my heart set on doing this activity with the kiddos the following day. Judge me, go ahead. I’m passionate about activities that I feel we’ll all enjoy.
The good news? If you happen to have some of these rolls laying around, this is quite possibly the easiest activity you can do with them. I chose to use it for a literacy activity involving matching upper and lowercase letters, but it can be easily adapted to work on colors, shapes, and/or numbers too. Bonus: it also works on fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Yep, all of that from a toilet paper 🧻 roll and some dot stickers. Who knew? 🤷🏻♀️
