And So it Begins…

Today was our very first day of school together. I haven’t been a classroom teacher for almost a decade, and never for my own child, although we learn from each other every day. Homeschooling or micro schooling is definitely different, but it’s also pretty great. More flexibility, less kids, and more socialization than had we kept her home by herself all year. Today wasn’t perfect, but it was the beginning of a new adventure that I’m excited about. In the mean time, I’m bringing back my Pre-K4 clothes pins in collaboration with @moorethanhappy’s green choices vs. red choices from www.teacherspayteachers.com as a behavior management strategy. Behavior management is important always, but ESPECIALLY when you’re teaching your own children. Here’s to new beginnings!
