This is an activity I borrowed from @fun2learnwithus that took me less than 10 minutes to set up. It works on color and pattern matching, as well as turn-taking skills if you’re working with multiple children at a time.
MATERIALS:
• Craft sticks
• Markers
Since these kiddos are 3, I chose to use colored craft sticks, but if your children want a challenge or you simply don’t have any colored ones laying around, plain craft sticks should work just fine. You can also use letters and numbers instead of just fun patterns. Lots of possibilities for learning here.
If you try it out, let me know what you think!
In case anyone was wondering what we did with the extra pieces of tissue paper…
