Clouds are made up of water, so to simulate rain and make the whole experience more visual, we recreated a STEAM station suggested by @experiencecurriculum. @donnavroberts then added a related classic song whose lyrics I couldn’t remember in its entirety, and the result was focused children having fun. 🤗
Also, in case you’ve never used a pipette/eye dropper with your child, be prepared for the fine motor challenge it can be. They have to time their squeeze and placement just right to get the liquid in, and later out.
MATERIALS:
• Water
• Pipettes/eye droppers
• Blue paint
• Shaving cream
• Pan/tray
STEPS:
• Add water to the bottom of a pan or tray.
• Add shaving cream on top to make a “cloud.”
• Mix blue paint with water inside a separate container and place pipettes inside for children to pour on top of the cloud.
Enjoy!
