PRESCHOOL ART ACTIVITY: STENCILING FALL LEAVES ๐Ÿ

Earlier this week we learned that yellow and red paint mix to make orange paint, which just so happens to be one of the colors of Fall/Autumn leaves ๐Ÿ (just not in South Florida because ๐Ÿ seasons are not really something we see here ๐Ÿƒ). The kids then used stencils to make their own Fall leaves ๐Ÿ collage.

H went to work right away with the stencils while B decided to try her hand at abstract art by mixing the colors to make an orange canvas. When it dries, I hope to be able to use the stencil cut outs to outline the leaves ๐Ÿ onto the background she made. Overall though, the kids both learned about color mixing and Fall leaves, which was the point, regardless of what their finished product looked ๐Ÿ‘€ like.

If you happen to have a great Fall activity youโ€™d like to share, feel free.
