QUICK AND EASY DIY SLIME!

While so many things can be bought at the store, it’s such a cool experience 😎 to make it yourself at home. 🏡 Slime is something we started experimenting with a few months ago, and last night Bianca requested we make a pink batch, so we did. Even my mom was fascinated, because you know, at the core of it all, it’s science. 🧪

MATERIALS:
• 5 oz clear glue
• 1/4 cup of warm water
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• Food coloring (we used 2 small drops)
• 2 tbsp contact lens solution (MUST contain boric acid)
• Measuring spoons
• Measuring cup
• Mixing bowl

STEPS:
• Pour 5 oz of clear glue into a mixing bowl
• Stir 1/2 tsp baking soda into 1/4 cup warm water until it’s completely dissolved
• Pour water and baking soda mixture into the bowl with glue
• Add a few drops of food coloring (we added only 2) and stir
• Add 1 tbsp of contact lens solution at a time and stir (for a total of 2 tbsps)
• Cover your hands with contact lens solution before kneading and mixing the slime

Enjoy! 🤗

Thank you @mothercould for the inspiration and original recipe. We appreciate you!
